Jacob turns 4!!

We had a hockey themed party for Jake (Nov 13th). All his little friends came and played on the driveway. It was a great time!!

Isaiah and his Trucks

Isaiah is a true boy through and through, he loves trucks, machines and rough housing. He is full of joy and mischief! He keeps us on out toes!

Oh Jacob.....

We had our first snow fall last night and luckily we had only summer tires.....So as we drove downtown ever so slowly I said to Stew "It is going to be a gong show tomorrow with everyone looking for winter tires." Jacob pipes up from the back seat with enthusiasm "Mom can I come with you to the gong show?" How do you answer that one? " :)

Pumpkin Cake

It was cute...could've been better with smoother icing. Anyone have any tips for thick spreadable icing?

Isaiah's Birthday Party!!

On Saturday we had a birthday party for Isaiah at a local pumpkin patch with all his little friends. We went on a hayride and played in the hay maze. We all had a great time being outside and playing at the farm, it was a bit muddy and Olivia was the one to slip in face first. We came back and had chili and opened presents. The boys are both so into the new presents, pushing cars all over the house. It will make the winter go by easier with new toys to play with. Thanks everyone for coming!! It was one of my favorite parties!

Moments with Jacob

• I had a diet coke open in the kitchen and was drinking it, but at one point I could not find it. I feel as though I am losing my mind at times so I searched high and low wondering where I may have put it down. After a extensive look I asked Jacob"Did you take my drink?" He looked at me and said, "I took the one with the caffeine." How he knew I am not sure but it makes me laugh that he is so matter of a fact.

• Today I layed down with Jake in his bed for a little down time, I was hoping it would guarantee a nap. He looked over at me and whispered "Mommy can we spoon?" Of course I said "yes!!". So we snuggled away and than he looked at me smiled and with a little giggle he said " We're like two little spoons togeder."

Preschool

Preschool has begun.....this is Jake's first year and his two good bud are with him. He goes twice a week and Isaiah and I will be doing swimming lessons together while Jake goes to school. I just cannot believe how fast the time goes and how big my boy is!

Hardy Falls

We went to Hardy Falls to see the salmon run with our good friend Jenn and her kids (Nyah and Quinn) and my sister Tifni. The fall has been so mild and beautiful this year it it nice to take it the weather and surroundings.

Maui Wowee!

My mom took my sister Tifni, my sister in law Janelle and myself to Maui this past week for 7 sdays. It was amamzing!!! So good to spend some time with them without having to chase my boys around. I had some good time to sit and read and process life. I came back excited and refreshed to jump back in parenting and marriage.
