God Moments With Jacob

Jacob loves to sing and picks up on so many of the songs we sing around the house at church and in the car (some better than others, currently one of the favs if Hung Up by Madonna he calls it Slowly and can sing some of the lines )!!!
Today in the car he started to sing "Everysing dhat everysing dhat everysing dhat has bread praise da Lord!" And he asked me to sing with him, it all melted my heart.
The other song "I'm making melon or (melon-d) in my heart to you!"
Tonight as we prayed said he "dankyou for Desus and Joffa (Joseph not sure where that came from) But afterward he looked at me with his little finger moving slowly to poke me in the eye and said "I love Desus momma!"
Praise the Lord for little ones that can with no doubt sense the Holy Spirit and be drawn to Jesus and all that is good around him!

Stew and Isaiah. I love raising kids with Stew, he is a awesome dad and he loves to spend time with his boys and invest in them. It is a huge blessing to me and our family.

Mudders Day

This morning Jake came into our room and said with great enthusiasm "Happy Mudders Day momma!" It melted my heart! For mothers day we went to the park and had a picnic with our good friends Ryan and Jenn and their little girl Nyah and soon their will be another little one added to their family.

Nashville

I went to Nashville on April 28-May 1. It was short but awesome to go and visit my cousin and have some time to myself. I went with my dad, my Auntie Corrine and Uncle Oral. My cousin Rashelle and her husband Travis were dedicating their daughter Lily Mae, so it was an honor to be there for that and get to see where they live. All in all a great, great time to be with family (and maybe shop just a little.... )

Jake thinks the best way to play outside is with a hockey stick, police helmet, rubber boots and lots of dirt!!
